RECAP: “The Moon and Mars: The Future of Spaceflight” event – Oct. 9, 2020

Recap:  Tap Talks operated from the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) hosted National Space Society of North Texas (NSS-NT) President Ken Ruffin for their virtual monthly meeting on Friday night, Oct. 9, 2020, to present The Moon and Mars:  the Future of Spaceflight.  This event was the NSS-NT contribution to the World Space Week 2020 events which occurred in hundreds of locations internationally between Oct. 4 and Oct. 10.

Ken revised a recent presentation with a substantial number of new details, images, and tables of data from NASA and from commercial spaceflight companies.  Those updates included expanded NASA plans regarding the Artemis lunar missions.  Additional updates were added regarding SpaceX announcements for ongoing testing of the Starship upper stage vehicle, which is intended for future landings on the Moon, and also on Mars.

All interested persons were invited to visit an upcoming NSS-NT meeting.
