Breaking Boundaries
The Artemis I mission continues this week with important milestones. On Nov. 26, the Orion capsule will break the record previously held by Apollo 13 for farthest distance from Earth ever traveled by a human-rated spacecraft. And on Nov. 28, Orion will reach its maximum distance from Earth.

Inspections Underway for Rocket, Spacecraft Before Setting Launch Date – October 6, 2022

Engineers at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida are in the process of preparing the Space Launch System (SLS) rocket and Orion spacecraft for the next launch attempt in November for the Artemis I mission. Check-outs conducted this week will allows NASA to finalize the work schedule before rolling SLS and Orion back to Launch Pad 39b. Read more…
