Sunday, October 11, 2026, NSSNT Meeting, Spring Creek Barbecue, 3514 W. Airport Freeway, Irving, TX 75061, 3:30 pm – 6 pm.
NSSNT is proud to announce that Dr. Enanga Daisy Fâlé will present – in person – “Unlocking Your Community’s Pathway to Space: A Systems Thinking Approach.” Members and guests are cordially invited to attend the hybrid meeting beginning at 3:30 p.m. CDT

Presentation Intro:
The space sector is expanding rapidly, and the requirements governing human spaceflight, exploration, and national space capabilities are being redefined. This shift raises a central question: Who participates in defining those requirements?
Space is a sociotechnical system of systems in which people, infrastructure, policy, industry, and the environment are interdependent. Participation is therefore not limited to launch capability. How are communities, institutions, and organizations positioned to contribute, and where are their entry points?
This session examines requirements emerging from communities worldwide that are, or should be, informing the future of space. Drawing on the systems engineering process, we will discuss stakeholder needs, emerging requirements, and the trade-offs influencing the industry across selected use cases. A systems thinking approach shows how new requirements can emerge and highlights capabilities your community may not realize it has or wants to develop.
Attendees will leave with a new lens for assessing their community’s capabilities and considering its pathway into the space ecosystem.
Bio:
Dr. Enanga Daisy Fâlé is an aerospace and defense systems engineering leader, AIAA Associate Fellow, and member of the National Space Society, with experience spanning avionics, flight management, aircraft power, and defense systems. As a Senior Systems Engineering Manager and Technical Fellow, she leads her business unit’s MBSE and systems engineering strategy. She founded a systems integration function that grew into a stand-alone department, directs an immersive lab roadmap bringing VR/AR/XR across the engineering lifecycle, and has led multimillion-dollar programs from concept to deployment using MBSE, AI, IoT, and XR.
A college educator, published author, and peer-reviewed contributor, she has presented at INCOSE, AIAA, NSS, and OBAP, all organizations she belongs to, and has been invited to speak by international space agencies and Fortune 500 companies.
Committed to developing the next generation, she previously chaired the board of the NSBE Aerospace Special Interest Group, served on the Society of Women Engineers Board of Directors, and currently sits on the Board of Directors for Fire Rockets.
She holds a BS in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Aviation Operations from St. Cloud State University, an MS in Systems Engineering with a Certificate in Human-Computer Interaction from Iowa State University, and a doctorate in Executive Leadership with a focus on model-based systems engineering from the University of Charleston.
